About the Kids

Yau-Tsim-Mong District has the highest number of subdivided flats in entire HK. Their parents work hard to meet their basic needs. But these children need motivation towards education, develop a healthy lifestyle and habits. This place is full of challenges like different Asian languages, broken families, new immigrants, drug users, prostitution and so on.

Nadia

10 years old, beautiful and talented girl. Her mom is from Indonesia and father is from India. She is joining our weekly activities such as MB (Mission Bridge) and MPDC (Masterpiece Dancing Choir), and other activities for over 4 years. From timid girl she is now bold, active and confident with the dream to be a star in future. This dream wasn’t easy to dream because of the challenges* that her family faces. We stand with her and empower her to dream more and achieve them one by one. Now she can dance, sing in Cantonese, Japanese and in English, she is good MC and she loves playing Hockey. *Challenges: (We respect/understand their challenges so don’t want share it in public)

Tristan

10 Years old, shy but talented boy. His mom is from Thailand and father was from Italy. In 2016 his father passed away, it was difficult time for him and his mom. They’re still overcoming with such lost in their lives. He is joining our MB (Mission Bridge), MPAC (Masterpiece Art Class), MPDC (Masterpiece Dancing Choir), and other activities for over 2 years. F.E.A.R. Face Everything And Rise that’s the new definition for Tristan and his mom.
